Pandamonium Records is pleased to announce that Cairn’s original unplugged music night “Resonate” will return to it’s original time slot at the Grand Hotel every Thursday night from 7pm starting March 12th.

Originally staged at the Courthouse Hotel then later the Grand, Resonate became a local institution with Dan Sultan, Emma Louise, Danny Ross, Steve Towson and many more having all played Resonate early in their careers. The night also hosted countless touring and local original acts over the years. Resonate became well known on the touring circuit with many touring bands passing through stripping back to a few members to get an extra gig while in town and making their tour more financially viable.

Resonate aims to present the best unplugged singer songwriters at their best each week with great sound and lighting, operated by an industry professional. In a move unprecedented in this current age of open mic nights, and amateur jam sessions, Pandamonium Records will pay every act to make sure the Resonate audience gets only the best the local scene has to offer!

The first Resonate will be Thursday the 12th of March and feature Jeremiah Johnson, The McCormacks (Tim Wright from King Pig & Katie Jay), and Brealyn Sheehan.

After somewhat of a hiatus from staging original music nights, Pandamonium chose the Grand Hotel to host Resonate due to their willingness to support original music, their lack of noise restrictions and their awesome outdoor deck where Resonate will be hosted (in the event of bad weather it will be moved into the front bar).

Resonate kicks off at 7pm every Thursday night, entry is free, beer is the coldest in town, and the food is excellent!
