The Far North’s original pop up live music venue ’The Panda room’ pops up for the first time for 2025 at Ellis Beach Bar and Grill on Saturday the 8th of March. Pandamonium Records in conjunction with Ellis Beach Bar & Grill will be presenting “The Big Night Out”, an evening of rocking musical delights.
The Brazilians
The Defacto Panda Room House Band, the Brazilians will be releasing their new single “The War On Rock ‘n’ Roll” at The Big Night Out. The War On Rock n’ Roll is a call to arms, let’s face it, rock n’ roll has been under attack for a long time now, noise restrictions, covid, loss of venues, and the gentrification and dumbing down of music in general. Time to assemble the troops, the war on rock n roll wants YOU!
Eddie Skiba Band
Eddie Skiba has played solo sets at Panda Room gigs in the past and always wowed the crowd with his tight arrangements and hooky songs, this time he will have his full band of gun musos in tow. Eddie has earned himself a stellar reputation as a songwriter and live performer. His latest album is ‘Chasing Rainbows’, adding to previous highly acclaimed releases, ‘Blend on the Border’, ‘Bullet De Bloom’, and ‘Dig It’. Mitch Sullivan from NQ Music Press describes Skiba’s previous release as “explodes with upbeat tempos beautifully contrasted with thoughtful and hard-hitting lyrics that will have you taking notice from the first listen”. Eddie has played support gigs with esteemed artists such as Hoodoo Gurus, Diesel, Ian Moss, Jon Stevens, The Black Sorrows, The Break, Colin Hay, Mark Seymour, Nick Barker, Jim Mogine (Midnight Oil), Dragon, 10CC, Chocolate Starfish, Clint Boge, and Ed Kuepper.
