There’s a new music orientated street press for North QLD, NQ Music Press. NQ Music Press was initially started by Pandamonium Records founder Todd Macalpine, and musician Patric Jung who have both amassed huge collections of local music over the years. Charts are provided by Laurence Backer. NQ Music Press’s mission is to report on, unearth and archive the North Queensland music scene. It is a place to discover up and coming new bands, and rediscover NQ bands from the past. There is a brief summary of the Cairns Music scene on the site ttoo. Check out the Cairns Music story here.
